Kickoff! Spain get the ball rolling, and Chilean fans hiss and boo as it's played back to Iker Cassillas.
And Chile get a great chance. They work the ball down the left and a shot is deflected and rolls out for a corner. The corner is headed wide but the stadium erupts nonetheless. -

Xabi Alonso picks up a yellow for a tackel on Martinez. He won the ball first, but his follow though crunched dangerously into Martinez's shin. Spain head away the free kick but only for a Chile throw.
Chile will want to keep pushing now. Spain have looked slow and dazed. There was a moment a few minutes ago when Iniesta won the ball inside the D and charged forward. The back SIX of Spain walked forward. -

GOAL!!! CHILE 2 - 0 SPAIN.This really looks like the end of an era. Sanchez hits a free kick in from slightly to the left. Casillas has it covered but for some reason punches it back into the middle of the box. Aranguiz pounces and drives an unstoppable strike high at thee near post. Casillas couldn't have stopped that, but Aranguiz shouldn't have had the chance to take it. Why Casillas didn't push the ball wide is inexplicable.
